The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) 2017 Conference in The Vatican is intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials. The conference will consist of two events with separate registration:

Stefano is an information architect at the Art Institute of Chicago. He has a background in visual and conceptual art and has worked in several IT fields with small and large companies before settling in the digital humanities field. Currently he is leading the LAKE project, an institution-wide digital asset management system based on Linked Data, open source software and open standards.

Stefano is committed to fostering interoperability among museums and other cultural heritage institutions.
