The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) 2017 Conference in The Vatican is intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials. The conference will consist of two events with separate registration:

Jack Ludden

Jack Ludden is a cultural heritage expert. He champions organizational sustainability and digital transformation. He builds open and collaborative work environments, by bridging experts across different fields and backgrounds. He has been a part of the cultural heritage community for more than 25 years as a digital advocate, communications specialist, and a design/UX lead. Jack was assistant director and head of digital experience at the Getty for fifteen years. He is a current board member of the Sandor Family Foundation and enjoys lecturing for universities and cultural heritage organizations about staff management, change management, and sustainable technologies. He is the immediate past chair of American Alliance of Museums Professional Network. Before working at The Getty, Jack worked for Disney Online, The Shoah Visual History Foundation and was a founding member of Red Card Studios. He received his BA from Northwestern University and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
